Explore with local guides the community gardens, allotment gardens and the beauty of the Hinnalinn dacha area currently under threat from development. Following this we shall plant some fruit trees in the town!

See the food producing areas of Tartu; Aleksandri Avatud Aed (community garden), Tartu Maheaed sites (allotment gardens), Tartu Hiinalinna aiamaad (longstanding dacha area) and the Emajõe Aed (community garden). Followed by fruit tree planting event in cooperation with Tartu municipality. The bus is currently full for the tour, but we will have a bicycle leader, pointing the way for those on 2 wheels!

10:15 - 11:00 Hiinalinn/Chinatown (Cyclists meet your guide at 10:15 -Põhja puiestee 46, 50605 Tartu)
11:15 - 11:45 Maheaed - Mõisavahe aed/Mõisavahe garden
